July 2012 Net Worth Update +9.23% Happy Canada Day!

Happy Canada Day everyone. After posting my first loss last month and generally becoming disillusioned with Personal Finance, I am coming back this month with a 9.23% gain. I had to check the numbers a couple of times to make sure I didn't make a mistake somewhere, which I still hold out the possibility of doing. My e-series funds recovered slightly from their lows but are still lower now than when I purchased them. I plan for my e-series to be long-term holdings so I'm never too concerned with them. My other stocks jumped greatly this month but part of it is due to the fact that I continue to buy a set amount every month and so it would be hard to show a loss in dollar value. I also fully expect these stocks to recede in price in the future so I think of the gains as temporary in the short-term. Another factor which helps to explain the jump this month is receiving three paycheques instead of the usual two.
